Dear Customer,

New Zealand wines are held in high esteem by both New Zealanders and tourists alike. They enjoy the complexity and richness of flavours combined with the seemingly beautiful landscape that it comes from.

In 1999 I started a company called Marlborough Wine Tours to take tourists to the best vineyards within the Marlbourough region of the South Island of New Zealand. One of the things we quickly realised that if someone wanted to purchase wine from the vineyard they had to drink it in New Zealand otherwise the hassle of getting the wine back to their own country and customs clearances made it too difficult.

So in 2000 we started the MWT Wine Export service that is solely focused on getting New Zealand wine back to the country of the purchaser. From humble beginnings of sending 100 cases of wine in the first 12 months we now send over 7000 per annum and are the preferred supplier of wine export services by over half the New Zealand vineyards. We have been trusted by over 20,000 tourists in the past ten years to deliver their wine safely.
